The minimum age for learning to drive is 17, or 16 for some people claiming mobility benefit. You must have a valid provisional or full driving licence.
The first Lesson you take in a car, covers all the basic road safety elements. Driving lessons can be taken in a manual or automatic car. This lesson also covers some theory and "cockpit drills" within the vehicle.
This can be scary at first as this is all new to you, but we need to make you feel, you have sufficient control of the car and safe understanding and approach to the road as you will be behind the wheel on your first lesson.
There will always be briefings and debriefings for all lessons.
Depending on how you do initially we will be able to notify you of how many more lessons you may need to pass your driving test. And design a plan to help you work towards gaining your drivers license.
